Overview

The courtyard is an ideal space for a variety of events. For centuries a place where the dairy herd waited patiently for milking, it’s now often used as a pre dinner drinks area for events held in the “Glass House”. It’s perfect for alfresco dining or even as a games area. Now home to everything from Jazz bands, street painters, ponies and fire-eaters...we’ve had it all.

Its acoustically superb and has been home to many classical and contemporary recitals.
Decorated with a large tree at Christmas it becomes a truly magical place.
