ANRÁN is privately owned and personally run by its two founders, Edwin and Mike, not managed by a hospitality group, and not staffed by rotating contractors. Every booking is overseen by people who have spent their careers operating at the highest levels of international hospitality and brand production, and who bring that same standard to every event hosted here.
Mike spent over thirty years in senior international hospitality leadership, including Food & Beverage Director roles at Gleneagles in Scotland and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, before founding his own consultancy advising five-star hotels and resorts worldwide. His event delivery experience includes some of the most secure, invitation-only conferences in the world , settings where discretion and flawless execution were simply non-negotiable.
Edwin has spent his career as a photographer and filmmaker, producing work for major international brands including Nike, Nokia and Johnnie Walker. He brings that same eye to ANRÁN , to how each space is presented, photographed and experienced , ensuring the estate looks as exceptional as it feels, on camera and in person.
Together, they bring a rare combination to an owner-operated estate: proven five-star operational discipline, and proven world-class visual production. For event organisers, EAs and agencies booking on behalf of a principal, that means one thing above all , ANRÁN is in safe, experienced hands.
Privacy as Standard
ANRÁN is offered on an exclusive-use basis only.
When you book the estate, it is entirely yours , no other guests, no public access, no risk of being seen or photographed by anyone outside your group.
NDAs are available on request for events requiring additional discretion. This same standard extends to the Live & Let Live Pub, ANRÁN's sister building a short walk from the main estate, available for private hire alongside the main property for events that call for a second, distinct space.
A Place, Not a Hotel
ANRÁN began as a derelict Devon farmhouse, transformed over many years into the estate it is today . Ten distinct indoor and outdoor spaces, fifteen guest rooms, and grounds that scale from an intimate boardroom to a three-hundred-guest seated dinner. It doesn't look like a conference venue from the road, and that's deliberate.
What you'll find once you're through the gates is a working estate run with genuine five-star discipline, by two people who've spent their careers ensuring nothing is left to chance.
